Our answer? Yes!
Reason #1: most venues require it. They never want to be on the hook and reliable for an accident due to another vendor.
Reason #2: it covers you. It protects you from circumstances you may not see coming such as accidents, trip, and issues of that nature. What if a guest trips over a cord from your vendor, or they fall ill from the food? It saves you from being responsible and against a lawsuit.
Reason #3: protects against damage. If a vendor does damage to a venue or to you they are responsible to cover that damage.
Reason #4: most reputable companies will already have this. Are you wondering if your vendor is a legit company? Ask if they have insurance and for their background work. It will go along way!
